After sending your inquiry my way, we’ll hop on a quick call to discuss your needs and discuss your questions. A nominal deposit will hold time on my calendar.

With your session on the books, we’ll begin the planning process. I’ll confidently assist you with every step of the planning process. I’ll provide location/venue guidance, wardrobe suggestions, and whatever else you may need.

02 // Planning + Prep

It’s time to take your photos! I’ll meet you at our predetermined spot and start to capture your family in all of their glory. I’ll preserve every meaningful moment while ensuring your comfort and giving you the best experience possible throughout our time together.

03 // Session Day

Following your session, I’ll naturally retouch your photos, if needed, and prepare them for your review. You’ll receive a link via email where you can access your complete photo collection online. You’ll be able to share, download, and purchase prints to your heart’s content with photos free of any watermark or usage restrictions.

04 // Photo Delivery

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking 2–6 weeks in advance, especially during spring, summer, and fall. If you're planning a surprise proposal or visiting San Francisco, reach out as soon as you know your date—I can often accommodate last-minute sessions.

Can you help us choose the perfect location?

Absolutely. From the Golden Gate Bridge and Baker Beach to Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, Lands End, and hidden local gems, I'll recommend locations based on the look you're after, the lighting, and the time of day.

What if we've never been photographed before?

Most of my clients say exactly that! I'll guide you naturally throughout the session with simple direction that keeps you comfortable while allowing genuine moments and authentic expressions to unfold.

What should we wear?

After booking, you'll receive a planning guide with wardrobe recommendations. Neutral colors, coordinated outfits, and timeless styles photograph beautifully while keeping the focus on the two of you.

How long does a session last?

Most couples sessions last about one hour, giving us plenty of time to explore multiple locations nearby and capture a variety of candid moments, portraits, and scenic backdrops.

How many photos will we receive?

You'll receive a carefully curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered through a private online gallery with unlimited downloads and easy sharing.

When will we receive our photos?

Preview images are often available within 24–48 hours, with your complete gallery typically delivered within one week.

Do you photograph surprise proposals?

Yes! Surprise proposals are one of my specialties. I'll help plan the location, timing, and logistics, coordinate with you beforehand, and discreetly capture the proposal before we transition into a relaxed engagement session.

Do you photograph visitors to San Francisco?

Absolutely. Many of my clients are visiting the Bay Area from around the world to celebrate an engagement, anniversary, honeymoon, or vacation. I'll help you choose iconic locations, avoid crowds when possible, and create photographs that capture both your relationship and the beauty of San Francisco.
